EMM solution from AppTec holds leading position in the current Crisp Vendor Universe
For the second time in a row, AppTec360° has been ranked “Leader” in the fourth quadrant of Crisp Research. The award underlines the leading role of the Mobility-first solution of the Swiss provider AppTec in the mobility market, especially in the DACH region.
Also in the current provider comparison “Crisp Vendor Universe – Workplace & Mobility”, the Enterprise Mobility Manager of the Swiss AppTec GmbH is again placed as leader and still ranks among the leading solutions in this segment. The independent IT research and consulting firm Crisp Research evaluated providers and service providers in the workplace and mobility market for the third time and presented its analysis at the beginning of January 2019.
In the Unified Endpoint Management segment, AppTec once again had to compete with IT heavyweights such as Microsoft, Citrix and VMWare as well as 18 other providers, but was again able to maintain its position in the fourth quadrant of market accelerators (accelerator/leader).
Broad coverage of leading platforms
For its rating, Crisp Research evaluated the providers on the basis of the two main categories “Product Value Creation” and “Vendor Performance”, each with five sub-categories. AppTec achieved above-average values in almost all criteria such as product portfolio, strategy, product experience and disruptive potential.
The Crisp analysts were particularly impressed by the “clear and distinct feature set” of the solution as a “clear USP”. This enables companies to have a very good overview of which services they use and pay for. In addition, some add-on modules ensured that the unified endpoint management platform could be meaningfully expanded. “With AppTec360, another regional provider has joined the circle of accelerators,” summarize the analysts. “Numerous companies, especially in the DACH region, are currently switching to the AppTec platform.
European provider with attractive pricing model
Managing Director Sahin Tugcular consciously positions his company as a European counterweight in the Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) market, which is flooded with American solutions, and relies on an attractive pricing model: comparably low monthly license prices and free use with less than 25 devices also make the AppTec solution interesting for smaller companies.
Founded in Basel in 2011, AppTec GmbH has already won more than 3,800 customers with its lean and easily accessible “Mobile-first solution”. The solution for remote maintenance of mobile devices is particularly convincing due to its intuitive management console and numerous useful security functions. Customers are free to choose whether they want to use an in-house server or AppTec’s cloud-based offering.
